Overview
World War II was one of the most horrific times in history. If you held a survey asking who is to blame, most people would say Hitler, the Chancellor of Germany, at the time. The worlds most powerful leaders came together to determine what would happen to Nazi Germany once they were defeated. Thus, they coordinated the Yalta and Potsdam Conferences.
The Yalta and Potsdam conferences were called to help the Allies decide what would happen to Europe, and in particular Germany, at the end of the Second World War.
